Yeah sure a year ago you would get stuck on a turn and have issues saving and reloading those turns, now you get stuck on a turn, reload, play a few more turns only to get stuck again...rinse and repeat for a few hours until you get too annoyed to play again and uninstall. I wouldn't exactly call that "less problems then a year ago"
As for asking for game saves...sure, you have been doing that for years so you can "triangulate where the problem may be" but after reading historical threads all I see is your guys coming back and saying they were unable to reproduce the issue...funny that a general player then tested some other players game saves and could 100% reproduce the problems that you say you couldn't.
I will however create a ticket and provide you with yet another game save to try and reproduce, bear in mind that the amount of turns you can actually get to play after a save point is highly random, you could get just a couple of turns or you could get 20+ turns before yet another freeze....
Piping in as a software developer...the "random" problems (not really random) that are difficult or impossible to produce can be just as difficult or impossible to resolve.
Years ago I was employed by a company that made software for the newspaper industry. One of our customer sites was experiencing problems with a critical system that I was unable to replicate locally. So, at great expense, they flew me out to the site so I can see the problem first hand. I was there for 3 days....NOTHING. There was no problem to fix. So I flew back home, and while the plane was in the air, the problem struck again.
When you can reliably reproduce the problem as a developer, that usually means about 75% of the work is already done. If you can't...well good luck. Its hard to fix something that isnt broke, believe me.
