User ships show up overloaded. e.g total mass 100 in an eighty mass hull. IIRC in the beta it was said that this was to make sure our ships were compatible rel>rel. BUT now is there not some way to not allow it till we have the right tech?
I think they still have no idea about this one. In the meantime I'm enjoying my double constructor buildable before researching any miniaturization.
Unless patch 1 changes the numbers again, I expect it will change. They changed weapons right up to release so some ships need to be edited as you have mentioned to get back into specs. You have to access them to fix them.
And until they do, there is no point to MP.
they should be disabled in the shipyard (greyed out) and only access them in the designer. If not it is a bug.
