[0.913] Shadow World Spell - OMG AWESOME!!!

Here's my neighbor

I don't like them much, they took a city location I wanted early on.  I found a spell, Shadow World, while on a quest.  What does it do?

"Opens a rift to a shadow plane, spawning creatures for the duration of the spell's upkeep.  These shadow creatures will attack anything in their way..."

Resoln, meet Shadow World.  Ooh...dark and shiny

 

Let's see what came out:

2 epic armies of demons and shadow wargs, and that was just the first turn.  It was nice knowing you Resoln...

 

Side note - giving this spell an infinite range might be a little unfair, but it's amazing.

I will quit knocking spells if I find out there's more stuff like this out there somewhere.

I think they forgot to add two zeroes at the end of that spell's mana cost. :/

Ok maybe 10,000 is too expensive, but 100 is ridiculously cheap. Should be around 5000 perhaps - mainly because there's no maintenance cost for this spell!

Says is stops if the 'upkeep is broken' - how, exactly, when there's no upkeep listed?

I have ran this spell before, upkeep is 100 mana per turn, thats PER TURN.  I was able to keep it up for about 12 turns late game, then it goes out.  However, the monsters that are spawned, stick around.  However they dont attack npcs much.

Ya, I waited 10-15 turns and they never attacked the city   But anyone coming in or out of that city got slaughtered

It was still epic
