I am sure its worth the price. You cant look at it from the point, that 95 percent of the stuff is old one. Just think about what needs to be done to implement only titans into the game:
- first of all, "invent" them. their function, their abilities, their overall role in the game
- artists need to come with some sketches, how would they look like
- they need to be 3d modelled, their textures need to be done and UV mapped, 3D models need to be equipped with hardpoints for weapons abilities
- their abilities need to be created (the graphical content)
- now all of that needs to be somehow coded into the existing game
- it has to be tested, if its not bugged, and if its not breaking the games balance
now i am not a game designer, so surely there is more of it, but you get the idea, it may look like a 5 percent of overall content, but there is quite a lot of work around it.
Personally i played the game for about 40 hours since the start of march. That is A LOT - for me. I even stopped to play Call of Duty because of it, which was basically the only game i used to play regularly for the last 2-3 years. And games like RUSE or SupCom 2. bought them both and while i consider them to be good/decent, neither of them did i play for more than 20 hours - per Steam´s statistic. So Rebellion is THAT good, as far as i am concerned.
