[0.77] my lenovo crashes at start game menu

just updated to the 0.77 patch, deleted all fe save games, then started fe to test in my lenovo laptop, and the menu appears, then when I click on the start new game button I get a dialog box (fallen enchantress has stopped working click close to close.

tried it twice to confirm the issue

edit , frustratingly the SAME update download works in my flamer machine

and even AFTER uninstalling FE , then un-installing the beta (deleteing all the fe mod area folders other than the units folder which had my two custom sovs and three customised units that were created with 0.76) then installing the .75beta and immidiately updateing to 0.77 with the updater, it STILL crashes upon clicking the new game button, and the last entry in the debug.err is loading the arial-11bold font

now trying with the customised units removed from the units folder(still crashes same last line in the debug)

trying deleted all folders in mod area,new game button NOW does NOT crash( BUT the SAME sovs do not crash fe .77 on my flamer, just on the lev)

re-created the sov played a game & died, re-edited the sov to similar to the sovs that I had deleted

and runs
