I do not see a statement in the registry or in my startup group to load windowblinds, nor do I see it in the services list. Can someone tell me where windowsblinds 7 gets loaded when WinXP SP3 starts?
grab yourself a copy of autorunz from www.filehippo.com and that program will enable you to see the process windowblinds uses. it's called wbserv.dll and as far as i know it's loaded as a high integrity process. good luck.
Thank you for the information, it will help me a lot.
On Windows XP there is a .dll loaded at winlogon that loads WindowBlinds. This entry is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify in the registry.
