Ok, here is one, I've tried to use the Object.Parent but keep getting an error 'Object required "Object.Parent"'. Thought I might be doing something wrong so did a test with the example from the documents and got the same thing. v2.30.031

youve got to make sure that the parent also has script enabled, so just click on the properties for the parent, click new script then just close the script window and press ok on the properties one. that should do it

How about using the Object.OnTop function? Ever get it to work?

Does anyone know how to edit an existing widget?

I would like to change which website the weather widget I have uses.

Sure.  Just import it into DesktopX and change it there.

I used this two newest desktopX,but both moves everytime icons to the other place where I have put them!(after restart or start)
Second thing,when I loaded my own theme,it leaved to centre of screen "loading new theme"although it has loaded!only restart desktopX I got it away.
So,I using now version 2.30.032 which works fine.

I just went back to the last stable release of DX (2.4) but still some widgets do not work (like the drag and drop in the trash widgets of Tiggz). Is is a problem in the widgets (to be fixed by the author) or in DX2.4 ??

At least the developpers are aware of the problems.

EDIT : I have tried DX beta of 13/01/04.

The Trash can of GT3 is now working (it was broken in DX2.4). The DogmaX widgets are also now working.

I'm happy. Thx Stardock.

Still reporting (I do not know if it is of any interest ??)

I tried the currency converter of Martin and the widget does not work.
