Hi,
i have some questions about Object Dock and Windows Blinds.
Object Dock is currently in Version 1.9, right?
A friend of mine told me, that there are still some bugs within the object dock software? (system tray icons?)
Will there be a new release of object dock, like v2.0 within the next 2 or 3 months?
(saw no announcments about the future development of that particular programm)
In case I'm going to purchase the plus version in its current state, will I get the next update to v2.0 (if there is one soon) for free?
(If it isn't allready the case, I'd would be a big plus+ to consumer friendly sale politics, if customers who buy products within a reasonable time range ~1-2 months before a new version of the product is released, get the update for free.
)
If i got it right, Windows Blinds allows to change and apply premade Windows Styles/ themes to windows specific programms (taskbar, explorer etc.) as well as any programm using windows themes/styles. To create own themes i need the skin studio, thus the bundle pack?
I'm a student and I'm going to develop software based on the .Net 3.5 Framework.
If I skin my developed programm with skin studio, will it run with the applied skins on PCs with no windowsblinds installed?
(how is the skinning in windows blinds done?, can it easily be applied to ressource files etc.)
For the professor to get hopefully not only a functional programm, but one with lots of eye candy as well.
(btw: maybe you should update your prices for online purchase as time progresses; e.f. Galactic Civ.2
i recently bought the endless universe Bundle, from Kalypso / Koch Media Publisher, simply because the price seemed more reasonable.
(23€ with delivery against approx. 45€/60$)
hopefully gets delivered in the next days. the thing is, i'd have rather prefered to download the bundle directly from your store, just as to be sure that the game is exactly how you developed and offer support for it and not some kind of half-baken custom solution to fit the needs of other publishers. (for some might also come psychology into effect, as to feel themselves as a direct support for developers, if buying products directly from them.)
maybe for the ones who still don't have gal. civ2, it won't hurt you much to make only one full bundle, but only for the price of the later 2 expansionpacks. Also the prices should be a bit lower than those of hard copies in general, as there is no nice printed box or manual. imho.)
well, thats it so far,
thx for any response
and greetings from germany
