Ok I played SP for a while..Saved the game...Exited SoaSE...Come back..Reload the saved game...Looks like it is running but when I select anything nothing shows up on the action grid.

Infocards all appear but I can't interact with the game in any way ??!?!? Ships, Planets NADA.

The units do select and the ship voices will answer up but no actions light up.

Start a new game and all is normal.

Now the save game was for a 'CUSTOM' map made by the map maker thingy.
Shouldn't make any difference I would think.

Also the rename button is dark also. Not working

The map layout is correct, the ships, resources, planets etc. are all where and what they should be.

Is this normal?

Additional:

The saved game I am having problems with are ones that I save myself during play. If I load an AUTOSAVED game
all is normal if not at the exact time I basically left the game.
