hi, i really enjoy the game, it's like the nextgen Master of Orion 2, which i played a lot.
now, there are several things i miss in GalCiv2 from MoO2. I know you get this type of post a lot probably but still.
1. more types of goverment, i know democracy with + Economy is nice, but I dont thing it goes well with some of the races based on the story. Like a hivemind type goverment for thalans with + Manufacturing bonus, or a Dictatorship/Kingdom type goverment for Drenging with + Morale and Soldiering (like insted +10 gives +5 +5) (i know, morale for drengins? well, secret police against the rebels i say!)
2. maybe some bonuses for smaller ships? lika a "to evade chance" giving them a chance to evade and get 0 dmg from an enemy ship based on its size?
for instancea tiny hull vs a huge hull should have like 20% chance to evade fire with no extra luck or 25% chance to evade with 25% luck (20% + (20*0.25)%)
3. more weapons types and effect, its all about stronger, "cheaper", smaller weapons.
4. definitly better espionage. i mean like you divert lets say 50bc per week to espionage. you get agent. you could either keep him in reserve to neutralize enemy agens or place him to sabotage their productio. so far nothing new, but what about stealing research (like +free reasearch or entire techs, or sabotage of their ships, creating revolts etc?)
5. advanced alliance with more subcontracts, like beaing able to use their planets to ressuply extending the distance a ship can fly (not using 100% range, more like 25%, but still something)
