Anasus, Vasari have some pretty great counters to Advent, maybe you could try changing your buildup a little if you know you're facing an advent player? (i mean, Phase Out for instance by the Desolator really screws up the Advent mothership, especially since you can keep it phased with a little micro) And don't count out your own capships, a carrier supporting a fleet with repair cloud becomes incredibly hard to kill allowing your more powerful, but less numerous vessels to win. Also, don't discount your phase missiles. Nothing hurts the advent's weaker armor early on like simply ignoring their massive shields. (since armor research is at the top tiers of research, they won't have acces to this early in the game)

There is little need to cry nerf right away, a little balancing maybe, but not nerfing.

One thing id like to add: Its Capital Ships. Focus on the a there. What the hell would you wanna do with a capitol ship? Hold a senate session?!
