Possible screen capture bug found (reproducible)

I was trying to take a screenshot (Print Screen key) of my completed tech tree and *POOF* my system reboots. Happened twice now, no mini-dumps, nothing in the event viewer, etc... In the screenshot folder I get this:

Are we allowed to take screenshots of this?

I've take well over 10-15 screenshots of my full tech tree, had no issues... Looks to me like you have a video card issue.

I've take well over 10-15 screenshots of my full tech tree, had no issues... Looks to me like you have a video card issue.


Other in-game screenshots work fine though...weird!

btw...what are those red orbs surrounded by whast looks like a metalic ring in the first image (screenshot12)?

yeah seen them i every game, dunno what they do, but i hate em, when i need to take screenshots

I think they're indicators of the Akkan's range extending ability being active on that ship....

Pretty sure it tells you when your ships are effected by the targeting uplink. Or like alcari said range extender

Your system may be trying to toss a BSOD.

Go to Control Panel->System Properties->Advanced Tab->Startup and Recovery Settings and uncheck the automatically restart option, then see what happens when you reproduce this issue.
