I was playing a saved game when I noticed that the graphics were screwing up a bit (some weird colors on zooming out, I also saw what looked to be vertices sparkling ) I figured I look to see if my video drivers were up to date. Sure enough I found some new drivers for GeForce 7900GS card. I downloaded the forceware 93.71 build and installed it. I rebooted and tried to play DA but only received a black screen after it was launched. I tested some other games and found that their video settings had all been reset by the update so I assumed this was the case with DA. I then uninstalled DA then reinstalled it. Again I got the black screen. My next step then was to reinstall the original graphic drivers that came with my Dell XPS 2 2.8 intel dual core and was able to play the game again. I guess my question is there anyway to play DA with the new video drivers? I saw on another post about disabling the onboard video in the bios but when I looked there, that option was not to be found anywhere. Any suggestions would be helpful.
