thnx but I already found a sort of answer to my problem.
The answer came to me when I came across another problem: making a new
colony module. It seems that if you make a new module of that kind (goes
for troop modules etc to) they don't work because the effect you want can only
be generated by internal name. Example: ColonyModule is the internal name for
the colony module. If you want to make a similair module it needs that as an
internal name, BUT by doing so you actually delete the excisting one.
So I figured that if it works like that with modules it works with TechVictory
as well. And of course it did. My new mod (Stargate modification v1.1, still pending at this time) now haves a alternate victory condition which shows a new movie at the end as well although you have to download this from
herebecause the file was to big to upload (kept getting page cant be found after a long time of uploading). The mod works fine without the alternate movie as well but just for the extra spoof you should download it if you are interested in the mod.
