I changed my password for my account this morning...logged in again to set it...made sure it was cross referenced with my SDC account (the same as I always had) tried to upload a wallpaper to submit...got a weird error about runtime or something (slllllooooooooooowwwwww dialup here): it said at the url https://www.wincustomize.com/upload.aspx
Server Error in '/'Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
customErrors mode="Off"/>
/system.web
Notes:
The current error page you are seeing can be replace by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's ,customErrors> configuration tag point to a custom error page URL.
,!--Web.Config Configuration File --
configuration sytem.web customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/
/system.web
/configuration>
And when I tried to login to SDC I got this:
Your Stardock.net account (my email addy in here) has failed to login to the Stardock Central servers. Since you are not currently logged on to the server you will be unable to install or view any updates that are available.
You should check your information under Tools / Edit Stardock.net Account to ensure that your email address and password are correct.
(I checked it and hit the retry)
When I tried typing in my new (verfied by email) password in the SDC login it failed....when I hit retry I got this:
Your Stardock.net login has failed because the password you have entered does
not match the one in your online account record. Please do not use any special characters like +/[!]~$% or & in your password.
(I didn't).....
If you need to change your password or resend it to your email, please visit
https://www.wincustomize.com/editaccount.asp or contact sales@stardock.com
Would you like to configure your local Stardock.net account settings now?
*because I had already verified that the password change went through, I clicked yes to see what came up for the local Stardock.net account settings.
nothing has changed from yesterday.
please advise....I have no idea what any of the above means or how to fix it myself.
thanks!
