Win 11,
Hi there,
This issue has actually been going on since I first installed and paid for Start11, but I have been ignoring it hoping it will be fixed.
It is a simple repro here:
- I have a number of groups of applications in my Start menu. (Created by dragging icons onto each other, so that it makes a group of items, and then renaming the section to something relevant).
- Very often, when I click to expand a group (so that I can select an item inside it), Start11 crashes and restarts Explorer. This whole process takes about 5 - 10 seconds, and it is really starting to get frustrating.
- This happens at least 5 or 6 times each day.
The first screen shot shows a "group" and then I click where the arrow points, to open the group the crash happens.
This screenshot shows the desired result and what happens without the crash.
I am a QA tester and IT professional. So, my machine is very well maintained.
I can send log files and have backed up my settings but can find no way to attach them here.
System info:
- Windows 11 24H2
- 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K (3.00 GHz)
- Installed RAM 128 GB (128 GB usable)
