I can't even access the Fence 6 settings. Now I can (in some way) use it, but it's impossibile to access to settings. The only thing I know is that right after I will reboot the laptop, everything will be as before, with no desktop and icons. This app is messing with my desktop.
Hi, the info you asked : 1. Windows 11 Home 24H2 Build 26100.3775 2. I run Windows Safe Mode and removed Fences 6 and Wallpaper Engine. Rebooted and re-intalled Fences 6. Everything worked till I shut down my laptop. Next day (today) I turned on the laptop and what I see is what you see from the screenshot I attached. Empty desktop with no icons showed. When I tried to click on the Fences 6 icon I couldn't run the application. 3. Wallpaper Engine is uninstalled
I'm having issues using Fence. I can't manage to make it works properly. My desktop is just black with any icons/folders showing, but they are still there in the desktop folder through file explore. I unistalled Wallpaper Engine to avoid conflicts but it didn't worked. I tried to re-intall Fence and reboot, but when I clicked on the icon the system told to delete the icon since it wasn't linked to anything. I don't know what to do. I tried to install Fence 5 (5.89) and Fence 6
I managed to restart my laptop in safe mode, so I completely removed Fence 6. Then I proceeded to install Fence 5 v.5.89. The previous desktop configuration came back, but without folders and all the Fence specific features. It looked like all th icons were in the right place but without Fence being installed. Hi, I'm in the same situation. I had Fences v.5 and it was working flawlessly, but when I installed the new version all my folders and files disappeared from my custom desktop (when browsing into pc folders I can find my desktop files/doc), I can't even uninstall it because there's no option for that in my windows apps list (I'm using Windows 11 Home 24H2, build 26100.3775). What do I do now?
