It would offer greater flexibility.... If, for example, I'm designing a web site for a customer then it would be very handy to be able to Fence relevant materials and have control over how they are arranged inside the Fence. :)

Thanks. It's obviously an effect that gets applies when Fences is enabled, so it would be great to have the option to turn it off.

Is it possible to organise Fenced icons so they can be grouped with gaps between them rather than having them all shuffle and organise together automatically? i.e. more like the Desktop where icons can be freely arranged and grouped.

Just a quick thing... when Fences is enabled, rearranging normal (non-fenced) desktop icons has an animation effect. Can that be turned off so desktop icons can be moved about instantly?
