Totally agree with DarkAcreDan on what he posted. In addition to what he stated, when everything is left aligned, the icons crowd the edges, as seen below. For illustration, the image shows two fences side by side with the same coloring. The red arrow points to the edges of each where they meet, and as can be seen, the 438 Solutions icon is not centered and is crowding

Basj, your assistance has been excellent, but the lack of a Stardock way to directly upload files when receiving support is neither normal nor desirable. Because we value privacy and security we have no Youtube account, and unfortunately for solving this issue we don't want one and none is planned. I played with this for the past hour and it doesn't make sense. But, if there is a pattern it is: That icons which do not have tooltips in Fences will suddenly have them if drug to the desktop. That many times the icon on the second row, left side will not have a tooltip. If I drop an icon into row 1 which moves the last icon on the right to line 2 on the left, then the moved icon will stop working. 
OK, so I did the purge/restore as suggested. Two things happened. 1.) As another poster put up, any colors that have been assigned to the fences are wiped out. Since there were many fences this is assuredly a pain in the neck. This is also odd since when choosing a backup to restore the correct colors are shown on the little previews. 2.) Hi. I had not done #1. After you sent that, and before I read it, Redneck asked if it was registered. It did have a Deactivate button so I suppose the key was in there. I updated software and, since Redneck says he isn't getting the notices, will wait to see what happens in the future. Thanks for the help.
It shouldn't be as I purchased it. However, never say never. I can re-enter the key, or as it says "Update". Out of curiosity most products one can see the status, how can one tell if it is registered or not? Thanks
As they are interfering with some video projects, is there a way to disable the daily update popups. Great product, but the daily repeated and nagging popups are most annoying. Please advise.
