(In Response to previous comment about support for ARM to run under Parallels Desktop) I submitted this to support November 11, 2021 and the answer I received was... "We have received requests for this feature, and the developer is looking into ARM support, but I have no definite news at this time."

I run Windows 11 today on the new Macbook Pro M1 Max under Parallels Desktop which is a virtual machine environment. I use this environment for things I need to run that aren't yet available on a Mac or maybe never will be if the source company does not want to get into that. The actual funny thing is that Windows runs faster in the VM on the Mac than native on my Thinkpad X1 Extreme with the fastest Intel processor and max memory. this also keeps me from running back and forth between comput

Having worked in the industry a long time and on Intel processors with Intel, I would disagree with your analysis but who really knows.

Given that Intel is moving to ARM and that if you want to run Windows on a new Macbook Pro with Apple Silicon instead of X86, one is forced to run Windows 11 for ARM. Since Microsoft does not sell Windows for ARM, you have to run the Insider version which has timed out Windows 10 and enforces moving to Windows 11. That leaves me with an Object Desktop Key that I paid for to get Start11 so I could have it on my Mac/Parallels virtual machine to run Windows and no version I can run. It d
