Has anyone from the dev team followed up on this? This happened again to me today, an automatic software update was pushed and updated my discreet video card and I wasn't able to connect until I disabled it. I'd really like to use my graphics card with this setup!

I have already read it, that's where I got the information to disable the nvidia card. That's not a fix for my situation, its barely a bandaid. Is there anything else I can try to recover?
Hi, I have a new laptop that I am running as a headless secondary. Initially it worked great with multiplicity running. My CIO office at work forced a reboot last night and I come in to find that multiplicity wasn't working. I tried a few things that didn't work and one that finally did... 1. Tried to connect via wifi instead of ethernet 2. Made sure my network connection was private (not public) 3. Reinstalled multiplicity on my primary a
Brief update, Lost access again. What I've found is that there is a security policy being pushed by active directory that changes the connection type from PRIVATE to PUBLIC. I opened up an incident with my corporate IT to see if I can bypass the pushing of that policy. If I find out that the issue isn't policy related, i'll post back here any new findings.
i don't know if this will fix it permanently, but it did for now. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/6815-set-network-location-private-public-domain-windows-10-a.html I put it on wifi, went in and changed the registry and network properties to a trusted network and it started working. I don't think it'll keep working though b\c I go
I can RDP connect to the secondary (that isn't working) without a problem.
I flipped my secondary to primary and when I tried to add a different secondary, it found the secondary when I clicked add computer, however, it said "No computers with that name were found on your network. You mway want to enter an IP address instead. Do you want to continue with that name?" So it can see the network, it just can't connect. This confirms that the problem is with this PC specifically. The PC is a work PC and CIO office pushes tons of crap
Hi, yesterday I lost access to my secondary and can't get it back and stable. I am able to uninstall/reinstall/reboot and get it to come back for a bit but it loses the connect and can't get it back. I am able to connect from my primary to other secondaries (just bought the pro version) and it works fine. I'm going to try to setup my secondary as primary and see if that makes a difference.
169 addresses are typically because it can't communicate with a dhcp server to pull down an IP. Either, your computer isn't connect to the network, your hardware is having problems or your dhcp isn't working. If it shows that you are connected, check your cord, port etc... try multiplicity on other devices.
Thanks!
I can't seem to figure out how to disable encryption. I set it up at some point but i can't remove it or delete the key and save. Can someone walk me through how to do that? How much overhead does encryption put on a connection? Does it help the latency/lag?
Hey guys, i had this problem again :(. I was able to get it working after a couple of secondary reboots. I didn't do a flush. I did try to delete and re-add the secondary. I also switched from wired to wireless on the secondary and tried to connect via the IP of the interface. None of that worked. It finally worked again after second reboot. :( I honestly can't work without this software, does anyone know of something less buggy
Sean, it took 5 days for you to send me an email that just asked for my version. What can we do to speed this up? I need to get this resolved. Can we hop on a skype call and I can share my screen?
I haven't heard back from support in a while (via email). Can we use the forum to communicate? Resolution steps will help others that have similar issues.
I will certainly continue to work with support. Its important to also get feedback from the community and also document this to help someone in the future. I'll keep this updated.
I sent in a support ticket and this is what I was told _________________________________________________ Hello, Try downloading the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/apps/Purge_MP.bat If you're on Vista/7/8/10, right click on the file and select "Run as administrator". <br
