This is just a personal at home desktop PC (Lenovo) with two users - me and my wife. Maybe best for me to uninstall and then reinstall Start10????? Maybe a new download even? My version is an upgrade from Start8. Can I redownload without having to pay for it again??!!!!
I have just checked and I have version 1.0 installed. I do not have a 'Lock' option from the Shut Down options after left clicking - just Switch user, Sign Out, Restart and Hibernate. Only the Switch user does not work.
Using Start10, in Modern Style Format: Left click the Start button to get start menu, click Shut Down, one of the options is 'Switch User'. This does not work (click it and nothing happnes), and it doesn't work whichever of 2 users is logged on. If I Right Click the Start button and click on the Shut Down options, the Windows 10 dialogue window for shut down opens and using the drop down menu, the 'Switch User' option does work. Is this
Thanks, I will change to the Modern style for the start menu then. Wasn't that impressed with the Windows 10 style anyway, asI don't/won't use any of the tiles.
Running Start10 on Windows 10 on a PC with 2 users. Every time I switch user, the Start Menu appears in full on the new dekstop. Very annoying, because I don't ususally want the Start menu first. Where is the setting to stop this happening? Must be in the 'Configure Start10' somewhere, but I can't see anything that appears to be the right setting. Help!! Thanks
