I dled the file from the site and installed, it now works. why did the main not see the new version??

main computer has version 3,42 build 00080 and the laptop has 3.44 build 00090 the main computer when I click check for update says the software is up to date

My mouse and Keyboard are still not working. they were for a long time not sure what the issue is. I use my laptop to run my main computer from any were in the house. and when it would connect to the wireless a bubble would popup showing that the secondary computer was able to connect. no bubble any more!
