I still have this problem and it is not resolved. My domain-joined Windows 8 Pro PC cannot use the "Pin to Start Menu (Start8)" option on any of the start menu items that are listed in the rebuilt "All Programs" list of programs. It seems that I'm running into the same problem with Start8. I thought that this problem was fixed with the product. A manual copy/paste to the User Pinned\StartMenu folder works every time. Using "Pin to Start menu (Start8)" results in nothing happening. Is there an update for the product that addresses this issue?
