So was the second beta ever release for Start 8? I didn't see a notice saying it was out and where to download. Edit: Never mind I found it and downloaded it. thanks...

That is fine, it just should be more clear and the link takes you to version 1.16 which has issues with Windows 8.1 from what I've been told. Looking forward to Beta 2.

Received an email today saying that Start 8 is compatible with Windows 8.1 and to download from a link. But the link takes we to version 1.16 which I thought wasn't compatible. And the beta is 1.17 that I'm currently using. So is there a version available outside of the beta that is compatible? If so where can I download it from?
