Great piece of software, but when I run it, it wipes out my saved passwords. Is there a setting that will prevent this?

Thanks for the reply. I did the "offline activation" using a flash drive, but I never left the PC that was denying conventional activation. That worked for me. Seems like a long way around to get a result. Larry

I have tried multiple times with multiple downloads and cannot activate Start8 with either my product key or my Stardock account option. Have never had this problem with past versions. Help? Larry

I found that when I set my PC to auto logon (see instructions here: http://www.howtogeek.com/112919/how-to-make-your-windows-8-computer-logon-automatically/ that it boots directly into the desktop. Larry

I'm having the same problem (boots to Win8 start instead of desktop). 64 bit and version 1.0 of Start8. Manually logging in. Larry
