I have no intention of installing the trial for Fences or any other software from Stardock. I'll post you a screenshot when the next update becomes available. I had no trouble installing the file linked to my account over the top of the old one. I now have version 2.55 running.

Makes me wonder why START 11 has a "Check now..." button when it doesn't do the job. I wonder what else in START 11 isn't working the way it should. Seriously if START 11 was freeware or shareware I would be more tolerant, I shouldn't have to uninstall, download the latest version, re-install. I was considering buying FENCES but sadly I have no confidence in this company's products.
Just tried to update START 11. When the update tried to install I'm told that the minimum system requirements were not met. I'm using Windows 11 Pro, have 84GB of free space available. What's going on? How do I update it? Moved to Start Menu products area
Thank you Basj. [e classic]:congrat:[/e]
It did though I decided to select Run As Administrator to instal it..
Is anything being don e to fix the bug? What is the point of having a "Check now" button if the the available update cannot instal? Why can't it instal i.e. why does it mis-identify my operating system?
I update from within the program under About by clicking Check Now. I thought the attachment made that obvious.
I'm using Start11 v2.08 on Windows 11 Pro. When I have Auto-Update turned off and when I try to manually update I get an error message telling that the following system requirements were not met: Operating System: Windows 10, Windows Server 16. The setup then aborts. How can I fix this? .
Have Windows 11 Pro 23H2 with latest updates. Start 11 v1.47 Update will not install, error states I do not have the minimum requirements, mentions Windows 10 and Server 2016. Also 40.55MB update takes a long time to download.
