I should have posted this here: https://forums.stardock.com/524389/win10x64-start11-v203-not-clearing-out-uninstalled-suggestions-in-start-men
Is anyone else seeing items in the start menu not updating to reflect uninstalled software? In other words, I uninstall an application and I still see its folder and "empty" icons in the start menu.
New beta now deletes files!! TYTY! Unfortunately, it also prompts me 2x to delete it:
Working GREAT so far! Only bug I've found is I can't delete files via a "Pin Folder Menu". I created a folder for Desktop in Window 10x64 19045 then when I right click on a file (which is correctly shown from the desktop) and right click menu -> delete nothing happens. Everything else in this right click menu seems to work fine for individual files. In other words: <img

My God can all the whiners shut the hell up. It's $7 and for a great app to boot! If you can't afford that then you have BIGGER issues.

Thank you, I'll give it a look to see if I can find that parameter. FYI, shadowfx works great when it shows up. In fact, it would seem to me you guys could probably make a few small changes to get it working with all themes and then give ppl even more reason to buy this cool application! Just a thought....
I know that Stardock has not promised that shadowfx would be compatible with any theme OTHER than the default 8.1 theme; however, I'm hoping someone will take mercy and offer advice. I've recently starting playing around with VistaStyleBuilder (now WindowsStyleBuilder) and found that SOME themes others' have made work perfect with shadowfx but most don't. I just can't seem to figure out what the "magic" formula is...if anyone could offer information as to what
1. Using uxstyle is NOT a hack as it does nothing to alter the OS's files. 2. If that's a condition for using your application then you should put it under "requirements" so that people know before purchasing it.
hey Guys, did you try using it with ONLY the default windows 8 theme? I just bought this product and it ONLY seems to work with the default windows 8.1 theme which is total BS as that was never stipulated anywhere! Please tell me they are going to fix this!
Can this still be used on XP or no?
What about these 2 features: Remain focused on the task at hand Make the active window stand out, make inactive windows fade away and automatically minimize background windows. Add momentum to your workflow WindowFX has a "window flick" option that allows you to add movements, fade windows and add speed to quickly throw your windows around your monitor.
I'd like to buy this for windows XP but I'm wondering what features will NOT work as i understand many of the animations and such are ONLY for Win7? This should really be listed on the website explicitly as i was VERY disappointed in WinFX4 on XP.
