Windows is Windows 10, version 21H2 Fences is version 4.0.7.2 I have my browser set to download to the desktop (as I did with Fences 3) and Arriving is a fence on my desktop. The only box I have checked in "New icon placement a & auto-organizing" is [ ] Downloads go to Arriving Thank you Basj! Birrell

I have Fences 4 newly installed. I tried to set it to put all new downloads into a fence called "Arriving." Instead it is putting them onto the general desktop, outside of any Fence. In Fences 3 this worked fine. No more, alas
Thank you for your kind reply. I am however on Windows 10, and version 4.0.0.3 of Fences. When I run Fences from the Win 10 Win-Key menu that starts applications, I do see a number settings pages. I have not found lock or unlock on those pages - could you tell me where I might look? Birrell
I have tried click- dragging. Nothing happens. Someone said it will work unless you have locked my fences. I have not found a place to lock (and thus to unlock) them.
I just paid for and downloaded Object Desktop and installed it on my laptop. Is it OK to install it also on mydesktop, and if so how do I download a new copy without paying again? Thanks Birrell Walsh
To the best of my knowledge I never turned Launch on, and I certainly do not want it to autoload at startup. Help, please!
I would enjoy having workspace-icons that would expand to fill the whole screen with a new workspace containing its own fences, and perhaps even further contained workspaces. Mmm "Hierarchical workspace fences"? Is that the right name for such a thing?
