I'm having trouble explaining. The upper left of the window is rounded for "inactive" tabs. My first screenshot is of an inactive tab - the screen capture software took focus so the single open tab is inactive. Yours is not. Leave only one tab open and take focus away from the file explorer window - the first tab will be rounded in the upper left. Or look at my screen captures above. Open two tabs, make the second one active (click

That is Windows 11. Open another tab and make it active - you will now have the rounded corner on the inactive tab in the upper left too. Back to my question, is there anything I can check, set, ch
Not sure I follow what you are asking. If you mean the tab in the upper left corner window with Groupy enabled - that is how Groupy works when the tab is inactive. Only the upper left tab behaves this way. When it is active it doesn't have rounded corners Windows 11 - all windows have rounded corners now. I have only Groupy and Fences - no other utils/apps that modify a window in any way. I only have the black text issue on tabs on one of
Upgraded to Windows 11. I have Groupy 1.5. With an Explorer window I have group tabs set to "always if possible". I use a dark system theme and have all "How should the tabs look" settings set to their defaults. (although I have tried to change almost every color option but always "Reset to automatic titlebar colors" Why is the font in the titlebar set to black when I first invoke an explorer window? Until I open a second tab, make the tab inactive or open a se
'On Win11, explorer windows no longer have a black top bar when in combine mod' I'm not sure what this issue was but on Win11 release when File Explorer has focus there is a "black bar" on the current tab using 1.5. It obstructs the window border. Functions fine but ugly. <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAqAAAAFVCAYAAAAwi13yAAAgAElEQVR4nKy9yY8s23bet/aOyKzmtNVkG33fZ1tVmVWZWVWnuR3ffQ1pvkc9qoEpgTJEgAJhEbAN0wJlwAIEGZBFaOCRAQOGRx544qEBDw
Thanks for your reply. I am not having a problem with Groupy I am suggesting a change to how visible the consolidated tabs look. I don't want to use curtains - it is simply aesthetic. Groupy adds significant functionality to windows and helps my workflow. The screenshot I attached was intended for a developer or product manager that might be reading. Thanks for Groupy.
I really like the "combine if possible" option. When on a laptop it is a great way to save space. That said, I often forget I have a window with multiple tabs open already and still open another. Perhaps a good visual clue would be to bring a translucency *option* to the title bar? It would also make that ugly circa-Windows NT flat color title bar look a bit nicer? <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/28/4028554/f27dfc69-e178-43b8-8f98-9d0c28
Roll up on top of windows +1 Lock desktop position +1 I want fences to be fences. Enhance what it does but don't turn it into bloat.
There is definitely an issue with the latest version of windows and Fences. I tried to drag the autohide folders to the right of my screen and poof - all of them on the desktop disappeared. I have only one monitor/desktop. The only way I was able to recover it was to disable desktop pages. Frustrating.
Thank you AzDude. I've been a customer on and off since the beginning. Once upon a time I worked on PCTools and also Norton Utilities... we always loved your stuff.
And it works great! Feels like part of Windows.
I've been using the trial and love it. I realize it is for managing the desktop and some fences I use exactly that way. I also like to dock it on top of my screen and use it as a launcher. I put commonly accessed folders there - etc, set rollup and it works great. It is awkward to have to move a bunch of windows out of the way to access it though. I see this has been requested before - buy why can't fences individually be configured to "always-be-on-top"?
Thank you. I've had to stop using Groupy. I have a 34" monitor and always have alot of windows to manage. The magnetic attraction is very frustrating. I switched to CTRL but I guess I don't have the muscle memory to remember it works...
After about 2 weeks of using Groupy I love it. It seems like it is part of Windows. That said - it is extremely irritating when you have a lot of windows open to navigate through the "hot drop" window targets when moving a window. I am dragging windows in and out of groups all the time as they are inadvertently combined. I assumed I would get used to this but 2 weeks and I still do it... How about simply making a timed delay before the drop target
Sorry, I played with it and it works exactly like I would like.
thanks but the window I want the most is Explorer and that is one that does it...
thanks for taking my feedback.
Wouldn't it make more sense to only have the groupy tab above the titlebar displayed IF I have grouped tabs?
Bought it today - love it. I do find the drop on other titlebars too sensitive. I am now ungrouping as much as grouping. How about an option with a "x second" delay before the grouping background drop thing appears. So if that isn't clear, I would like to have to hover over a titlebar while dragging a window for a couple seconds before the option to group appears. Thanks
