You should be worried. They are even banning people on the steam forums for having an opinion about it. I've reported them to steam moderation and will no longer be a stardock customer from now on. The only way to get anything done is to vote with your wallet. All the galcivs 1-3 (elite founders edition on the last one even), sins 1, all the elemental games. Wish I could just take all my money back from you Brad Wardell. You can even have your signed copy of the terrible book you wrote for el
Yea, we can't discuss that as you can imagine. But we intend to be on all platforms eventually.
Brad Wardell, this is what cost you my galciv4 sale. Elite galciv 3 founder edition owner too btw. So this will be costing you the sale of this as well. I'm sure you don't care anyways. You guys clearly didn't with galciv 4.
The Alpha program is being run here. We're using Epic for distribution of the Alpha. Beyond that is TBD.
I too wish to voice my displeasure about this. I am a GC3 Elite founder, and would have been one for gc4 is it was available. I will not purchase anything on epic. So until you put it on steam or another storefront consider me a very disgruntled customer.
I like the Pirates idea. There is a GREAT deal of potential which will not be utilized till after release. Since Pirates are out to get all they can they usually have no need to murder colony ships filled with millions. Instead I would like to see a notification that we need to pay 'Paul's Buccaneers' 100 credits or they will destroy 'Colony ship 123B'. This would give us some interaction with them, allow pirates to get cash to get stronger and
WHY is there no thread posted by a Dev asking for input on which improvements, modules, components, techs, traits, etc. are overpowered or underpowered and asking for suggestions to tweak them towards functional balance?
Not their fault you're too fucking lazy to do a simple search. punctuation and stuff.
I sincerely hope that this is not the case. A fundamental change like this is something that should be optional not forced upon us. This is akin to forcing us to play with a negative mega event every turn.
It is the case as they felt the wheel system was not "fun" and have removed it presumably forever.
"one of the investments we made with the GalCiv III engine is the campaign system. It was expensive to do for us but it allows us to introduce players to lots of new alien civilizations with their own engaging stories. " Who cares about story campaigns? Nobody plays them anyway. People just play sandbox. &nbsp
I have read posts on carriers being overpowered however they are not. A history lesson is in order. World War 2 between Japan and the USA. Battleships were the thing to have in World War I but a few well placed torpedoes or bombs from a small group of planes on warships sinks them. When aircraft carriers became part of the fleet battleships became more of a target than a tide turner. Italian Battleships got nailed by old English bi-planes during World War II. Googl

I believe what most individuals in this thread are saying, is they would happily pay for and improved AI DLC if that is what it takes for SD to dedicate the necessary resources.
