I find it both amusing and puzzling that companies in competitive industries have fans that behave as if the company, which is unaware of their existence, is somehow an extension of their personality and that any attack on the company is an attack on them. It's also worth pointing out that the biggest direct competition to Elemental isn't CivV, it's a Fall From Heaven mod for CivV. I'm not sure if the crew that did the one for CivIV is planning on tackling CivV, but even if they are it would be months before they had something that was playable. As a new player who bought the game last week when it was on sale with SupCom, I find this kind of frustrating.
