Aha, that returns the directory listing for my C: drive! What does this mean then? All I want the search box for is to be able to type the names (or part names) of programs to save hunting for them in the All Programs list.
Hi Stardock community, I believe I have the same issue as the OP. When I type into the search box in Start8 (latest version; 1.16), nothing happens. I get the 'Searching...' text replace my pinned programs but it never returns any matches, even with searches for Windows default program searches like 'calc' or 'notepad'.
