No, straight clean install of the full purchased 5.01 version. I then uninstalled this completely and replaced it with the beta (5.49e I think, or whatever was available on the day before my original post upthread). Same problems both times.
I'm having problems with Windowblinds that when I switch skins at all it either freezes up completely or the new style (esp. the titlebar of windows) is incorrectly rendered. The titlebar either goes invisible or is rendered in Windows Classic style. Usually if I reboot my system then the selected skin comes up OK afterwards, but obviously having to reboot each time isn't desirable. System info is as follows...
