Well Wiz, while I understand your high-road response, that didn't really answer the question (which is why I'd hoped that someone from SD woulda answered by now.) If Fences ends up being the only product left that I actually use from the suite, then I'd just renew that and be happy with it. If nothing else I use is getting any updates in the next year and didn't in the past one, then I'd be wasting my money. Brad might not miss my money, but I would.
Just thought I'd check back in on this. Anyone know?
lol...I've said it before, but I'm scared that now that Brad and Gabe are BFFs, that Brad will no longer be able to count to 3.
When is the next update coming? Debating the renewing my OD subscription, but I haven't seen many updates in the last year to really justify it. The main things I use are LoginStudio, Deskscapes and Fences...as Fences just updated and LS seems to be done, it'd be silly for me to renew if the new version of DS isn't coming in the next year. Thanks!
I am soooo not the target audience for ObjectDesktop anymore and that makes me sad. Seems like the things in it that interest me are abandonware at this point. I was down to just using Deskscapes (for multi-monitor wallpapers), Fences and LoginStudio....now that's not being updated anymore either? I guess that makes my renewal decision easy for this year - I'll probably just get Fences, since there's a new version. \S
From Reply #6: "Here's the problem - now that they're all buddy-buddy with Valve, they've infected each other. Steam now wants to market productivity software in addition to games, and Brad will not be able to release a 3rd game in a series." How dissapointing...
Speaking for myself, my post was a joke.
Did a solution ever come up for this? Decided to dust this game off. Three of us playing right now, all having this issue.

Although there were some good games released, nothing has really compared to it. @Voxhumana man you been missing out, well I hope you are prepared for many sleepless nights. You are so right. While Endless Space (being hot news now) has potential and appeals to m
Aaawwwwww! No fantasy elections? That was one of my favorite parts! (The historical ones rocked pretty hard, too.) But, I understand that it's getting pretty late in the game, as it were, to get this installment out. A lean, mean, fighting Political Machine is better than none at all.
I've even tried it with no stars and I get nothing. Just added two new wallpapers to the folder, still can't see them. EDIT: Well - I finally just moved everything to a different folder again and they finally showed up. *shrugs* At least it works now. Three monitors - I like being able to put different stuff on each of them, and this program is the best way to do it.
Damn....nothing?
Yeah, I just have it looking at this one folder, and in it, there are 12-15 files. For example, I DL'd a Mass Effect 3 wallpaper yesterday, and it's not available as a choice. I then tried moving that picture to one of the default, included filefolders where other backgrounds are stored. Nothing. I took my original folder, copied everything over to a new folder on my OS drive, pointed DS at this folder instead, still didn't find it. There's

This has been rumored and talked about in roughly 5,437 threads over the last five months like a floating dice game. I don't follow the forums as much as I used to, and I don't want to miss it when it comes out. Thanks!
Still super excited for this and can't wait for it to arrive.... Any update on time-frame?
Okay...I've been beating my head against the wall with this for as long as I've had Deskscapes. I mainly use it to have a different wallpapre on each of my monitors, and tend to use ones that are relevant to the games I'm mainly playing at the time. I have it set to look in my me/pictures/wallpapers folder (windows 7, btw) and it never, ever, ever shows all of the wallpapers that I have in there - and more often than not, it won't show the most recent ones

I've seen in various posts that you're one of the Ruling Council of this tool, so I'm glad to see that you responded. If there is anything that I can do to help - beta testing, hardware examples, etc, I'm more than happy to help in any way I can.
Hey, all - long time Stardock user, new to DesktopX. What brought me to this is the fact that I can't find a meter out there to fit my exact needs. I really like the All CPU Meter , and use it on my gaming rig, but there is something it (and all other meters I've found out there) is lacking: a GPU meter. There are a few stand-alone GPU meters I've found, but I&#

This has been a long process to find the details I need. Well - I still need to manually check here, right? That's still more effort than is convenient (especially since info has been scattered on this topic across this forum, the wincustomize one and even Elemental.)</p
When you say, "Stand alone," do you just mean the DL links? That's the main thing I'm trying to avoid - I don't feel like having to go through everything in object desktop one at a time to see if it's the latest version and downloading it.
Any word yet when the new downloader will be available? I'm waiting for that to renew/upgrade.
