The taskbar transparency feature no longer works after KB5022913 is applied. They added a new search to the taskbar. Perhaps that is part of the problem I turned off the search on the taskbar but there is still no transparency. Adjusting it in the Start11 settings has no effect now.
I am using a mouse. This happens on 2 different laptops both of which do not have touchscreens or pens.
I use WinAero tweaker to make them larger. It has never been an issue for native windows taskbar and still works 100% with the native Windows 11 taskbar. When I turn on Start11 sometimes they work, sometimes they don't no matter what size I make them with WinAero tweaker.
The biggest issue I have so far with this release is that the thumbnails for active apps on the taskbar do not show when hovered over. They work as they should when start11 is NOT active but as soon as I turn on Start 11 sometimes they work for a
Just wanted to not that all issues with the weather icon on the left of the taskbar have now been resolved in the latest Windows 10 update this week. KB4023057 and KB5011493. were installed this week and suddently the weather Icon now functions properly even though there was no mention of it in the release notes for the updates.
Lots of people with this issue so it is probably not caused by Start 11. It has been reported to MS but no solutions are forthcoming. There are other pieces of software similar to start 11 out there and people are reporting the weather issue to those developers as well. It is interesting to me that creating a new user account on the same computer will work. It is just a pain to move everything to a new account to fix a minor thing like the weather icon. Followed these steps and still no joy. Lots of people with this issue so it is probably not caused by Start 11.
Basj. Your screen shot shows your widget icon as part of the taskbar not to the left side as it should be....see my screen shot. It is supposed to change to a cloud in the position yours is or a cloud with the current temperature when positioned where MS has said it would be after the update to windows 22000.257. I see you are not on the release level so the icon is beside the start button and will not change to the cloud until you update to the new DEV release 257

When I installed the latest Dev build of Win 11 build 257 everything was working fine until I upgraded Start 11 to the latest version 1.11. Since then I have been unable to get the weather widget to work again. I get the widgets icon on the left of the taskbar but it will not change to the weather information. Just installed the update to 1.11 and now the weather no longer appears on the taskbar when using centered taskbar. It worked before this upgrade. I am on Windows 11 22000.527. If I create a new user account on the machine the weather icon works for that account. That would mean something in my profile was changed that disables the functionality. Anyone know how to fix?
