When my dialup connection went down in the middle of a page load, I got quite the collage of html elements. It would be nice if there were some way to reload the page.

Ok. So what do I do if I am attempting to edit an already created TGA file? Do I have to convert it to a PNG file first? Also, I don't see an alpha layer option availble in my editor. When I open the file in PhotoImpact, I can see two overlapping images. If I just clear the leftmost image in each layer and resave as a TGA should that not work? Failing that, are there any editors (free or very inexpensive) that I could use that will do that?

I'd like to lobby for a new feature. The way that Iconpackager works right now is that there is only a specific list of icons for which IP will apply icons for (what I'll call a "system set"). I realize it would be next to impossible for the programmers to make the IP apply icons for every existing program, since the number of programs keeps expanding virtually exponentially. But what I would like to be able to do is apply a set of icons created for the "system" (how it is now), then have the

I have been attempting to edit (using PhotoImpact 4.2) the TGA files for the control and toolbar buttons in Pix Office. What I want to do is recreate these files so that they do not show a button image until they are mouseovered or clicked. From what I understand, the first of five images in these files is supposed to be the one that I want to get rid of. I simply selected that area and used the clear function to eliminate the first image, then resaved it as a TGA file with the same name. Wh

I am finding that some programs, especially games that have their own cursor, do not get along well with Cursor XP/FX. Is there a way to "unload" it for the period I use the game (in much the same way that you can unload Windowblinds)?

Where is the list of some 130 icons that IconPackager is supposed to change? Is Windows Explorer on that list? I have yet to see an icon pack that includes one for it. I have a problem getting IP to consistantly apply the desktop icon. In the collumn of icons on the left side of an open file dialog, all the icons are skinned except the desktop icon.

When I installed Cursor FX, I soon noticed that I was having frequent random crashes of Windows Explorer. It would first crash (for no apparent reason than I clicked on a task, button or other control), then Dr. Watson would open up, crash also, then Dr. Watson would again attempt to run. After that, I am unable to click on any button task or other control. I am forced to do a three fingured salute to shut down the two crashed Dr. Watson's, after which my system would resume functioning in an

I had this same probelm with WMP9, and posted here with my experience. Neil asked me why I was still using WMP9 intead of 10 or 11. Among other things, I hated their looks. But more than anything else, I can easily adjust the colors in WMP9 to match my current skin, which I can't do as readily in 10 or 11. And worse, 11 is nearly all black, and while that's fine for a Vista Skin, I like XP skins with all the bright colors and designs. Niel, this problem is not limited to just WMP9. Do

I know that I already posted on this item recently, but I bungled the title, and no-one seems to have noticed the post. The Mirror Cursor function would be infinitely more useful to many users if the user were to be given the option to switch mouse buttons along with it. Until I installed Cursor XP/FX, I had a small applet in the Quick Launch Bar that would swap the mouse buttons and mirror the cursors to match. Conceptually this is easier to use than the then "backwards" cursors. Also, seeing

Has there been any progress on this issue?. It is a definate annoyance. The programmmers need to figure out a different algorithm to locate the window when it displays. The one I favor is to place it where the user last placed it when the window was last opened. Currently, it appears to use some method that involves how far it is located above the taskbar and any assoiciated toolbars located at the bottom of the screen. This is an inherently undependepdable method for placing the window bec

John, It looks like we're not getting any responses on this glitch. I am finding that if I completely exempt it from skinning, the problem appears to become intermitant, although I am not altogether certain it was intermitant to start with.

Is there a tutorial out there that will help a neophyte to create a simple calender widget, along with some sample code? I'd like to create a simple calender (not a task manager like a Rainy) to match the Optix Weather by Lovely.

I had an unusual event occur yesterday while using cursorfx... for some reason, the cursor starting passing under the frames and title bars. I restarted the system, which cured it. I don't know what precipitated the event except that I had a half dozen programs, including Dragon Naturally speaking, running at the time.
