Though I've just submited a few icons to the ObjectDock skin area, I've been a visiter and registered user of WC for a long time. One thing easy to see is, there are too many icons for the "famous" programs, like Photoshop, Winamp, WMP... As I know, a lot of people use many other programs on their PC, and they can't find their OD icons anywhere, as well as they do not know how to create one themselves (as in my case before).
So, why don't we have an "open area" for those OD users to request for their favorite programs' icons? And those who can use graphical apps can create them. It's also a chance to improve your skills isn't it ?
I'll be the first... Any one need an icon? You can send me a screenshot of the origin icon, and I'll try to make it an OD one (128, 256, in PNG or ICO...).
Not so good in graphik, so I need the help from the pro gd!

The images here in the forum are preview .jpgs...The real .pngs and .icos have been submitted to the ObjectDock Gallery here at Wincustomize:

When you see a preview image here, you still may have to wait a couple of days (up to 5, the rules say) before the image will be added to the gallery. Once it is accepted to the gallery, you can download it from there, or from the designers personal page

I've been looking for a Vista size icon for Dawn of War - Dark Crusade to go in my games explorer. Relic/THQ don't seem to want to fix this up so I am here. The original icon is a green skull on a black field. If someone could make an attempt at this I would prefer it in .ICO format.

That's a okay looking icon, when I saved it however, I didn't seem to get all the correct sizes. Is that because I just right clicked and saved the icon or doesn't the icon include all the Vista sizes to begin with?

The image is actually a link to download an .ico version at his page, so just click on the image and download the icon, if you just richt click on it and save it, you'll have a png version of it and it won't have all the icon sizes included.

I don't think thats the problem. I tried both ways and got the same results. I did click save target as, not save picture as...

Hey thanks, I'm guessing it was the box you had to tick for Vista icons in IconDeveloper?

However I don't really think the icon is right for the game, in the original you can just tell it's the skull of a robotic killing machine while this new one is too human. Since I installed IconDeveloper to try fix your icon I just went ahead and made a new one for myself based on the games box art.



...But do not think I take your hard work for granted. I rather like your icon as a wallpaper! A little blurry being only 256x256 but it hits the spot. Maybe you could submit a similar one to the wallpaper gallery?
