DesktopX, Konfabulator

Is there a Konspose feature?

Does DesktopX have a "konspose" feature like with Konfabulator? My desktop is way too messy so I can't really see the widgets unless it clears out like in "konspose".

Thanks.

Yes.  It actually does one better.  There's F10 which will bring widgets to the top and F11 which can completely hide and sow them.  These are the defaults, they can be configured.

I see, does it have something similar to konspose where the screen goes blank and replaces with a background with no icons?

My desktop is almost full of icons already.

you can use desktopX to hide the icons or on XP (home at least) - right click - arrange icons by - uncheck show icons - I use that, then create my own object to open the desktop folder when needed - there is also something called ' the hardest button to skin' but I can't remember if this is what it was for.

ah, I lost this topic and couldn't find it.

anyway, what does "the hardest button to button" do? nothing happens when I click on it. Is there something similar to the konspose feature in konfanbulator?

I'm using winXP pro btw. I can't see the widgets if my desktop is already, literally filled with icons. Even if it's always on top, it's already messy enough. Konspose removes the icons and replaces with a clean desktop/wallpaper, making the widgets a lot easier to look at.
