ObjectDock --> Missing Docks

Good morning --

Without warning, a tabbed dock I had configured (after hours of effort) turned up missing. It is the 3rd time this has happened and each time it first disappeared when I used Remote Desktop to access my PC remotely.

I only have the one tabbed dock. I had saved the dock and I had packaged the dock. With neither could I get the dock back. Instead, ObjectDock would create a running apps dock, something I don't need. It would never recreate my tabbed dock.

How can I prevent this in the future (short of abandoning Remote Desktop)? Why can't I restore my dock?

I had tried deleting the cache. It recreates the 2 default docks fine, but when I load my theme, it deletes those 2 and creates the incorrect running apps dock.

I'm becoming very frustrated and am thinking of junking this program.

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

Thought I would throw out a suggestion, since no one has answered yet.

Can you create the theme > save the theme > then unload ObjectDock and use Remote Desktop > then reload ObjectDock after Remote Desktop session?

If so, I would say that there is some sort of sharing issue with the desktop.

If you can reload in this fashion, this may be your best option if there is no setting that can be adjusted in Remote Desktop or ObjectDock.

Hopefully, one of the more qualified individuals here at WC will drop by with a more competent explanation.
