Perth, Australia code = ASXX0089

Should work with the Weather Docklet included with ObjectDock - I just tested it.

See if you can get to "www.weather.com" when the docklet reports information unavailable.

If you can, then something in your firewall or anti-virus is probably preventing access.

You could try saving your theme > unloading ObjectDock > clearing cache.

To clear cache:

Open "My Computer" > go to "Tools > Folder Options > View tab", then selecting "Show hidden files and folders" > click "Apply".

Now go to "C:\Documents and Settings\"user account"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder (where "C" is the letter drive, and "user account" is the name on the account when logged in), then delete the "ObjectDock" folder found there.

Reload ObjectDock, this will start the default theme. If you have a firewall that warns you about a program trying to access the internet, you should get a message saying that ObjectDock is trying to get access (this is the weather docklet attempting to get information).

If you get a message, allow access. This should set the firewall to allow weather access for any future themes you set-up, including changing the weather code.

If all goes well, reload your saved theme and change the weather code.

If this does not work, then I would suspect an issue with your location. I have seen comments in other posts indicating difficulty in accessing weather docklet information from Australia.

I live in Seattle, Washington (USA) - so that is the limit of my knowledge of Australia accessing this information.

I hope this helps.

the code you want will be in the same format as Geneva above - it's got the 'X's in it

I have firewall issues with the weather docklet. i want to remove it from the dock, but there is no apparent way to do that. Why??? Other docklets have a "remove entry" on the right mouse button, but not the weather docklet!

So...how do I do that, exactly?

drag it way off and let go - on OD+ make sure the dragging is unlocked

What is the country code for Singapore?

Country or City?

Here's the drop down list:

when you click on one, look at the address and find the code. Example: when you click on Changi look at the address and you will see this in it: ..veler/local/SNXX0003?lswe.. the code is in bold here.

I'm a little late, but:

go to weather.com, on the tab at the top - click 'world', next page enter city, country in box - click go = look at the address, it's generally the 1st 8 characters after local/

after clicking 'world' I typed Slovakia in the box and clicked go:
I got this page: Link

on that page I clicked 'Bratislava' which took me here: Link

going through the address I find: http : //www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/LOXX0001?lswe=slovakia&g
