ObjectDock cannot find ODImg.dll

Is this file available for download?

I had to re-install objectdock and since then everytime it starts it says that the "ODImg.dll" is missing and all "PNG and TGA" files will not be loaded. Has anyone else had this problem and is that file available for download somewhere? Thanks

ODImg.dll goes into c:\Program Files\common files\Stardock . You are not the first one to report this after a fresh install, and the only thing I can think off is, that you somehow got an incomplete download. Maybe you should reinstall again?

When I searched for this file on my computer I noticed that I had a (newer!) version of ODImg.dll in my c:\Program Files\Stardock\SD Central\Backup folder. Maybe you have this as well?

Man, if only I had found this a few days ago.. I removed SDCentral from my computer, didn't touch ObjectDock and I got the same error. Doesn't really matter now because that was a work computer and I'm starting a new job on Monday soooo I removed all my SD stuff from that box before I left. Good info though, I'll have to remember that.

I'm having the same problem, but I don't have an SD folder. Is there anyone who could possibly send the dll file? If so, contact me on AIM: Matt8441

I had this problem recently with the free version of ObjectDock on a new Vista computer. I found that the problem was that Data Execution Prevention was blocking the ODimg.dll from loading. So, I added it to the list of exceptions using these steps:

  1. Go to control panel and open System.
  2. Click on Advanced Settings.
  3. Click on the Advanced Tab and the first Settings button called "Settings..."
  4. Click on Data Execution Prevention
  5. Click on Add...
  6. Browse to C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock and select ObjectDock.exe
  7. Click on Open and then Click on Ok and Click on Ok.
  8. Restart ObjectDock and the error should be gone.
