Can I make windows to fade in on mouse over?

I had an idea...

What if I have lots of windows open and all of them would be transparent. Then if I move the mouse over the appropriate window would fade-in from transparency and would be on the top [like when you select it on the task bar, or somethin'].

Is this possible with one of the stardock software (checked windowfx and windowblinds, couldn't find such option)...

Thanks...

Is it possible you could try collecting all your questions into one thread...so as not to bump all the other people's threads into the distance?....

Me? All of my questiona are just piling up at the bottom!

It's nicer and cleanr btw to post only one question at a time. It seems nobody gives me a useful answer anyways. (

Anyway I installed tweakui quickly and I solved the mouse over/popup part from this issue. Only want to fade the windows in the background to be transparent. Can I do that?

Thanks FOR THE HELP!

Each time you or anyone posts to a thread it is bumped to the top.....and given a fair amount of time/patience any/all threads are answered...

Well, if you check Out my earlier posts you can see that nobody answered yet. And I'm pretty sure that for pro stardockers the virtual desktop question for example it's pretty easy.

I use LiteSTEP which can set as many virtual desktops as you wish...so haven't used any other method to do so.

Just give them time...

I like your idea, PlanetHOPE. Unfortunately, I don't know of any program that can do that. I have always wished the WindowFX could make all my inactive windows transparent, but so far, it can't.

WindowFX can make menus transparent and have them become fully visible on mouseover. It can do the same for the taskbar. Unfortunately, it can't do that with windows.

One thing you could do is use a WindowBlinds skin that has a transparency control. That way you could manually make any window transparent with a click of a titlebar button.

Thx MikeB312, Actually that was my Idea too. I'll check out the command for transparency and try to make up some script for it.

Hi again, I've figured out how to modify buttons (or mouse clicks) in skinstudio but what I need is a script. Could someone help me to create the script or send me a link for a tutorial about skinstudio scripting please?

I would like to create a scrip that:
will make windows transparent AND send them backward if they loose focus (mouse moves away, or I alt+tab to another app), and also on focus they will come to the front and fade in (loose transparency). Don't think it's a big script but dunno...

Megathanks!

Maybe someone can give you the name of a skin that has the transparency button, therefore containing the basic script. Maybe then, you could modify the script to do what you want it to do.
