Updating My Skins

If any administration journeymen mods or apprentices and such would like an explanation on why I was uploading like crazy this morning I would be happy to oblige, just not widely in public. paulgmr@sbcglobal.net

I just have to say, DWatson, that those ports are awesome! Great work, and I'm really looking forward to the updates.

Could I please have an admin or moderator remove these four skins from my uploads?

Thanks alot cerebro, I only hope I'm to the challenge of doing the updates.

I might do a few more ports who knows... and maybe if you all are lucky a original WB from yours truly. It just is a matter of sitting down and learning (again) SKS.

I want to once again say that my uploading of today had nothing to do with getting a high download count, and I will not even ackknowledge that I have accomplished anything until my updates are done and the downloads then become well deserved.

They should have been touched up before you uploaded them.

You can delete your own uploads. you don't need admin to do it. You really should take any down that are not updated yet. It's just the right thing to do and it will also save your reputation. They all look pretty darn good though.

Ok, First of all I have cooled down on it and am sorry for any inconvenience or insanity I may have caused. You may recall my thread about having to go for the neurologist appointment? Well this morning I was called and told that they needed to run some tests immediately, and i had no idea if i'd be back or not so simply I wanted to get those ports in, in case I wouldn't be able to do it for a while once i was at the hospital, if that makes sense. But once there I found out that they had just called me in for an eeg so now im home and working nonstop on the updates, and have already had four of them taken offline. Hope you enjoyed this small part of my chaotic life, feel free to respond and laugh or throw rice at me.

You really should take any down that are not updated yet

I had thought about taking them ffline entirely, but have already got like 20 emails about the four i had taken off last night so I really don't want to risk it.

To be honest DW I'd already assumed that it was something like illness or possibly 10yrs at HM Prisons for molesting badgers on Hampstead Heath . My thread was started in the hope of injecting some gentle humour and wasn't a dig at you. I'd envisaged that if it were me I'd have to take a screenshot of being top author, this automatically leads to thoughts of wallpapers etc, which of course when you've got the lot you start thinking hmmm theres a theme here - and in the short time I've been here I've yet to see you resist a theme

Oh I didn't see it as a dig at me, I actually spit out my milk laughing So no harm done,
And I dunno if I'm ready for walls yet, I've never had one that was accepted here yet, but I suspect its because I just like to go in psp8 and press all the buttons(sometimes with my eyes closed) and see what i come up with
However I am wroking on turning eah port into a full suite i.e logons, bootskins, cursors, i have an icon pack under tight development, and i have an audition for a sitcom on saturday at 2(theres a guy flying in to see me act and if he likes me im off to california for one of those teen dramas)
So trust me, even being able to write down what needs to be updated in the first skin is an accomplishment for me(I also have an order for 23 custom computers and sunday I'm instaling an underbody kit)But the updates will be done, everyone can rest assured of that

DWatson: you can delete your own skins by going to the "My skins" page.
Click on the skins you wanna delete - on the skinpage there is a 'delete' button.

He is talking about deleting them before they are approved I think.
