End of quote

Actually, a belt and one pair of suspenders. Don't spread it around or everyone will be asking for three start buttons. ;)

You also have multiple shortcuts for Control Panel on your desktop.

Are you running another app that changes your taskbar besides Start11? What happens if you restart your computer?

Same icons Yes, but only one Control Panel.

thanks!

Please post more information.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need it full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. You're posting in Deskscape area, do you these issue due to Deskscape? If yes, post deskscape version number. And do tell us why you think Deskscape is causing the issue?
  3. If its not Deskscape, and it is Start11, need to know you Start11 version number installed.
  4. What software you use to add that big clock/date/day on your taskbar. It really look odd and out of place.

Thank you,

1.  Win11 Pro (very new to this version; I think i like Home better; and I realize I'm not in Kansas anymore).
     MS Win11 Pro
     ver. 10.0.26100 Build 26100

2.  No, I didn't realize I posted in the wrong section; I don't know how to move this beast.
Please feel free to move; or I can delete altogether.

3.  Start11 ver. 2.5.3.1

4.  My BIG Clock is "Eleven Clock" (from the MS Store);  i need it cuz i can't read the clock otherwise.

Perhaps, those extra start buttons cause by the Big clock, which probably causing conflict with Start11. Would like to suggest try uninstall Eleven Clock and reboot the system and see if the extra button still appear. For big clock, you can try different clock app that don't mass with your taskbar. For example Stardock Deskscape has an option to Put clock on your desktop wallpaper. Stardock ObjectDock has a clock module to put as one of your dock icons. Sysmetric etc

I thank you for the kind suggestions; however, I will keep the 3 start buttons because I have been looking at them so long now, I miss them if one of them is missing.

And the ElevenClock stays because I've gotten used to that too.

I figure I'm the only one who has to look at them, so I will keep them, but I thank you for the kind suggestions. :D

You got me to thinking about the Control Panel icons (3 of them on my Desktop).  So.,,,,

I changed the one called Screensaver Options, but I cannot change the God Mode nor the Control Panel.

So,,, now i only have two(2) Control Panel icons staring back at me.  I appreciate your pointing that out.

Thank you for the tip!!
