Fences started moving

from Stardock Forums

Hi,

I have been using Fences for some years now. Currently using v3.1.6.1 recently one or more of my 3 Fences have started to be placed at the bottom of my screen instead of the top. I have tried moving them back up but they insist on dropping back to the bottom.

Any advice.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know, you on which Windows ? Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number.

Do know that Fences v3 not compatible on Windows 11. Please upgrade to latest Fences v6 for better compatibility.

Hi  Basj,

Its worked fine for years up till now. I've moved the dropped one to the right hand side undernetah one of my other Fences so that will do as not willing to have to pay again.

It might still work, but you should expect some strange behavior since there is lot of things has change in Windows since 2016/2017, when Fences 3 get introduced. Refer Fences version history: https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/history
