Seamless mode stopped working after 4.05 Upgrade and upgrade to Pro

Primary: Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4652)

Secondary 1: Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2  (19045.6093)

Secondary 2: Windows 11 Home Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4652)

After the upgrade (I did both at the same time), Seamless stopped working even though it had been working before on 4.01 Standard.

The Seamless connections tab shows that it is connected to both computers, and running the Test says that they are connected.

Hotkey switching does work, just no Seamless. I also tried switching to the "Use advanced resolution aware grid mode", but that doesn't act differently.

I have rebooted all of the computers multiple times.

Thank you,

Jim

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link] on all system. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

I would check you have not enabled a setting to only allow switching in certain situations.

Also switching would be blocked if you have a key stuck down.

I had double-checked everything. Been using Multiplicity since it first came out.

I had to do a MANUAL purge as the script file you sent didn't purge leftovers from really old multiplicity registry keys and files. Once I purged everything "Multiplicity" using RegEdit, deleted everything under the Startdock folder, rebooted, THEN reinstalled, it finally worked.

Thank you for the motivation to clear everything out. :-)
