I’ve spent a fair amount of time troubleshooting Fences 4, including the “Peek at Desktop” feature that never really worked on my multi-monitor setup. After reading through support threads, I now learn this is a known bug — and that the only fix is to pay again for a “perpetual” Fences 6 license.

Honestly, that’s disappointing. I bought Fences expecting stable functionality, not to have to upgrade to a new version just to get basic advertised features working. There also doesn’t seem to be any upgrade pricing visible anymore, which makes it even less compelling.

I’d really appreciate some transparency here: are you at least planning a Black Friday sale or upgrade discount for existing users? After the amount of time I’ve spent trying to fix this, I’m reluctant to pay full price for a perpetual license when the previous version still isn’t functioning properly.
