Taskbar menu hangs when autohide taskbar is on

Whenever I have auto hide taskbar on, the right click menu hangs when I click on the taskbar.

 

I'm running win11 build 26100.2894

already did the uninstall reinstall reboot process

Please try Cleanboot and see if there is something else is causing it. https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#cleanboot. Do note that cleanboot steps need to be follow with some care.

Are you using Start11 auto hide or the OS option for that?

so with cleanboot, it's still there just not as rough. Tried purging it again and no luck.

I'm using start11 auto hide since I want to keep them rounded corners on the taskbar

What application running on controlling your animated wallpaper? Also, those day, date, time display by same application or something else? If you disable those, reboot the system does the issue still appear? (normal Windows wallpaper)

its wallpaper engine, I disabled it and still no luck, guess I'll just turn auto hide off.

BTW, did you checked and make sure your Windows autohide is turn off?

Try testing on Windows Sandbox and see if the issue also appear while in the Sandbox: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#windowssandbox

hmm seems fine in the sandbox, I ran latencymon turns out the my nvidia drivers go haywire when I right click that task bar
