Fences won't run. I get multiples of the same popup when launching fences.exe.
Popup title: Fences.exe - Fatal error
Popup contents: "CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate."
Can't find any mention of this in the forums or on Google.

1. Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.2033)
2. Fences 5.8.4.7
3. This is an upgrade. Fences used to work on this machine some time last year, but at some point started producing multiples of the same popup flooding my screen.
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Purged. Rebooted. Reinstalled this. Rebooted. Same result on launch.
(Uninstalling was difficult as it causes the same popup to appear. Had to first remove Fences from startup then reboot, then I could purge.)
Please try test install in Windows sandbox and see if the issue appear in there: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#sandbox. Try it and report back.

Works fine using Windows Sandbox! So something is wrong with my host environment. No idea what.
Please try cleanboot: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot. Do follow the steps with some care. Try that and report back.
